4 year old 16.3 hand Thoroughbred gelding by Twirling Candy. Has had a tracheostomy. He is super easy to ride and handle. Big lofty movement. Has been over cross rails and shows true talent for the hunter ring. Anyone can ride this horse, he does not spook, he’ll go through ditches, go gallop in the pasture with loose rein, ride with other horses, etc. He is SAFE!
The reason he had the procedure is because his flap wrapped around his trachea and got infected. So now he has a permanent hole in his trachea that he breathes out of, it just sounds like you’re squeezing a ball when he breathes. It isn’t as loud as a roarer. This procedure will make him better than the average horse as he gets better airflow. Only maintenance is he has to be cleaned with a wet paper towel every other day.
No injuries or vices.
