3 Diamonds Farm is proud to present for a client: Top Note aka Spruce! He is a 16.1hh, 6 year old, KY bred, TB gelding. Spruce is by Carpe Diem (Giant's Causeway), out of Lotta Attitude (Sharp Humor). Don't let his sun bleaching fool you! He is a beautiful bay with chrome! He raced eleven times on the track, retired sound in 2023, and has been enjoying his new life as a sport horse ever since.

Spruce is a lovely up and coming prospect for a rider on a tight budget. He has three quality gaits and a fantastic jump. Currently schooling BN height. He is brave jumping and would literally jump anything you ask him to jump! He is happy to hack out, unfazed by traffic, dogs, and loud farm animals. Absolutely loves cross country. He did one jumper show so far and was brilliant! He also has experience in the hunter ring, including showing in hunter over fences classes with a kid rider in the irons. He is a very safe mount, brave and confident, but can be a bit pushy on the ground. Good manners for the vet and farrier. He is up to date on everything, has no vices, and wears four shoes with front pads.

Spruce would make an excellent eventer, hunter, jumper, or fox hunter. Perfect for ammys or teens. Spruce does have a touch of medical history consistent with a horse of this caliber, making him best suited to a job at N height or below. His perfect new home would also include plenty of turnout. But, if you are looking for a safe horse to build your confidence jumping, have fun, and compete at the lower levels, Spruce is the star you have been looking for!
