Talented and sweet TB gelding

Parker, jockey club name Jr’s Day, is a large bodied 15.3 hand, 8 year old (2017) OTTB who only had 2 starts and retired sound from the track in 2020

Parker successfully competed in the 2021 Beginner Novice competition as a part of the Thoroughbred Makeover Program prior to coming into our program.

Parker has been owned and ridden by an adult amateur for the past year and a half, in a professional program. He has more woah than go with a temperament of 3/10, suitable for an AA, Jr  or a professional rider looking for a quality horse to move up the levels. He  is very personable and friendly, loved by all who meet him.

Parker enjoys trail rides. He walks over all bridges and other obstacles without any issues and loves to play in streams. He turns out well in a group.

Parker is a very handsome horse and a lovely mover with flowing, ground covering strides and is suitable for dressage, eventing or the hunter ring. He has been schooled up to 3’3” in a grid and shows excellent form at the bigger jumps. He is competent in all first level dressage movements

Parker has no vices, loads and unloads with ease and stands for farriers. He has a set of clean leg X-rays from a PPE done by his current owner. His owner’s impending move sadly forces the sale. He is located on the west side of Cleveland OH.
