SUPER Athletic Coming 5 y/o TBM with THE BEST Brain

Love The Hustle, aka Chessie is a 4/3/20 16.2 hh TBM who only raced twice, but is impeccably bred to be a major athlete. One Grand Sire is Curlin, one of the winningest race horses of all time, who won the World Cup in Dubai. The other Grand Sire is Kitten's Joy, arguably one of the best turf horses of all time. This one was supposed to be my upper level eventer some day, and it is killing me to put her up for S, but sometimes divorce runs your life. Chessie loves her hacks, is very bold and brave and has a huge step. She is pretty much not phased by anything. In fact on a recent group hack, she led a bunch of other older and scared horses over a very scary bridge without batting an eye.  She crosses water, and does natural ditches and banks during her hacks.  She is sweet, loving, and easy to work with in all ways on the ground.

Although Chessie has been primarily been turned out to grow as a 3 and 4 y/o, (so far she has gone from a size 72” to an 80” blanket, and she is still growing) she has had several stints of 30-60 days of half time work in the last 19 months, and is currently being ridden 3-4x/week (up until 1/6/25 when the snow arrived). She has been ridden multiple times by a 13 year old and an older AA, and has only been jumped 5-10 fences 3x in her life in an effort to preserve her growing body. That happened on the day I tried her when she literally had stepped right off the track, one time in the woods with me, and one time with my working student (which you see listed in the videos below).  She never ever looked at a thing all 3 times.

That being said, due to her exceptional level of athleticism and baby ways at times, she is not for a beginner. She would make an excellent hunt horse, eventer, or jumper. Chessie requires one five zero zero zero carrots and is located in Bluemont, VA.
