Dunedin Flash Baby LB (“Flashy”) is a seriously impressive young horse with all the ingredients to be a top-class eventer or jumper, or go in any direction for someone wanting a genuine quality partner to enjoy. A beautiful modern type with plenty of chrome, he is by the renowned stallion Rock n Roll and combines quality, athleticism and rideability in a very exciting package.

Flashy is a real head-turner - beautifully put together, naturally uphill and athletic, with three balanced paces and naturally offers changes both ways. He is brave, honest and light to ride, always in a snaffle and never strong or silly. He has a huge amount of natural ability, but just as importantly, he has the temperament to match: a genuine puppy-dog personality and an absolute gentleman to handle, ride and have around the barn.

Recently imported, Flashy has already won his 5-year-old Young Event Horse class to qualify for the YEH Championships at his first show in the USA. Prior to import, he successfully completed a training event in Ireland and also has miles with an amateur show jumping 1.10m. He is brave, honest and super genuine to jump and gives his rider a lot of confidence. He is beautifully polite - with his naturally uphill way of going he never pulls his rider out of the tack and is very responsive and easy to put together.

He is straightforward, fun and incredibly easy to do everything with - the same whether he is ridden every day or has a few days off. Used to dogs, children and farm machinery, he is the sort of horse that is easy to produce and enjoyable to have in the program every day.

Flashy would be a wonderful fit for a young rider, ambitious amateur or professional looking for a quality young horse to continue producing. Equally suited to eventing or show jumping, he is brave, scopey, balanced and uncomplicated, with the quality and presence to stand out wherever he goes.
