Pandora - Quiet, Adorable, & Kind All Arounder

3 Diamonds Farm is proud to present for a client: Pandora! Dora, as she is lovingly called in the barn, is a 15.1/15.2hh, 11 year old, draft cross. She is a very adorable bay tobiano mare with a thick build and the cutest markings. Dora was DNA tested by the Animal Genetics Laboratory at Texas A & M and is a Highland Pony/Percheron/Suffolk cross. And what a great cross for an all around mount!

Dora is a sweet, all around type that would be perfect for a rider looking to do a bit of everything on a tight budget. Primarily used as a trail riding mount, she is currently gaining more experience in the arena. She has three nice, comfortable gaits. Dora has a pleasant engine (she is not hot or not a kick ride, but perfectly in the middle) and moves nicely off your leg. She is starting some lateral work and is jumping small cross rails. She stands perfectly still at the mounting block for both mounting and dismounting. Happy to hack out and has perfect barn/ground manners. Very easy keeper and completely barefoot with beautiful feet. No maintenance, no vices, and up to date on everything.

Dora is a quiet and safe mount that would work for a number of different riders. She would make a lovely low level mount in any discipline (eventer, hunter, jumper, fox hunter, or dressage). She is also super honest, especially jumping. While she is a bit green for her age, Dora is progressing and learning new things quickly. Like this week, she is working on contact. She would love to continue doing all the things with her new person, as long as that rider is interested in continuing her education and developing an up and coming prospect of their own. Perfect for ammys or teens, or anyone looking for that typical draft horse ride and feel.
