Lil Mr Matt - Quality Up and Coming Unicorn!

3 Diamonds Farm is proud to present for a client: Lil Mr Matt! Fondly called Kona in the barn, this beautiful bay, WV bred, TB gelding is 16.2hh and 8 years old (will officially turn 9 in May). He is by Real Estate out of Questera (Yes It’s True), which goes back to Northern Dancer. He raced 32 times on the track between 2019 and 2024. He won 5 times, came in second 7 times, and third 2 times, earning just over $83,000. Love his breeding for sport horses as these lines produce stunning movers. And Kona is definitely a stunning mover!

Kona was originally sourced right off the track for his three beautiful gaits and temperament for dressage (and mistaken at times for a warmblood with his good looks and movement). Now, he is being produced as an eventer and all-arounder. He could continue on as a dressage horse, but is learning to jump and loves it! He is cantering small courses and showing that he has the scope and bravery (with a lead change) to keep moving up the levels. An absolute sweetheart and cuddle bug in the barn. While he is incredibly quiet and sensible (even when working past tractors, on windy days, or near flocks of loud birds), he can have a look or a little spook at something in the most honest way. But very ammy and teen friendly, having even taught some lessons recently. Kona also has a pleasant motor and is nicely forward (but not hot and not a kick ride). No maintenance. No vices. And best of all, he is completely barefoot with beautiful feet!
