This big, stout, well-bred 2019 16.2H TB mare has an IMPECCABLE brain and a lovely large, cadenced step. I would dare to say she is not done growing, and she takes up a lot of leg (rider is 5' 11"). Racing only twice, she has spent the last 15 months learning to be a sport horse. Quinn would excel as a hunter or foxhunter mount, but she is brave and fancy enough to event as well. She easily makes it down the lines, but without being in any sort of hurry the perfect amateur type with the assistance of a trainer. Because she is a big young horse, she will not be for a timid rider at this time. She has been extensively trail ridden and does not balk at anything - traffic, dogs, machinery, firearms, woodland creatures - making her the perfect prospect for a first flight foxhunter. She has been hauled off the property to several schooling events, group trail rides, and Hitchcock Woods with zero issues. There is no drama with this mare she'll happily stand tied to the trailer, and a child could lead her around the show grounds. She is jumping 2' 3" with filler, has schooled all the Starter XC questions, picks up both leads, and has a green lead change; I have no doubt in 6 months it will be automatic. Quinn lives outside 24/7, turns out alone or in a group, just mares or mixed herd, and is at the very bottom of the pecking order. She is not mareish in the slightest, and she has an extremely quiet, friendly demeanor. She's also been turned out with sheep and minds all farm creatures well. JC: Queen of Light. Selling as a sport horse only.
