Irish Sport Horse Eventer, talented and amateur-friendly.

SPINK DUKE – 2017 Grey Irish Sport Horse Gelding, 16.1h By Zygmunt out of Spink Princess. Spink Duke is a beautifully bred Irish Sport Horse, carrying a classic blend of Irish Draught, Thoroughbred, and Polish Arabian bloodlines. Imported from Ireland, he comes with a green passport and all the quality you’d expect from his heritage. Duke is a talented and versatile Eventer who has competed successfully to the Novice with an adult amateur, showing plenty of scope and ability to continue moving up the levels. He has also been successful in the Jumper ring at 3’3, and has foxhunted with a junior rider. Recently, he has been competing successfully unrecognized with a teenager. This horse loves to jump and has the athleticism to go much higher. He is clever and confident on cross‑country, a good mover with real dressage potential, and extremely rideable—quiet, light in the bridle, and genuinely enjoyable to sit on. Duke has a wonderful personality, is sound with no vices, and has clean x-rays. And he looks like a unicorn! Amateur-friendly and adaptable, Duke would suit an adult amateur or younger rider seeking a competitive, kind, and capable partner. His talent and temperament make him suitable for multiple disciplines; he could excel in Eventing, dressage, show hunters and jumpers.
