Chromatic Flyer, a seasoned 14-year-old Thoroughbred gelding, is ready for his next rider to guide through the fundamentals of eventing. Known in the barn as “Alvin,” he has extensive experience at the preliminary and 2* levels and has successfully brought his current rider from novice to 2*.
Easy to handle on the ground, Alvin is the type who will happily babysit a beginner but also rise to the occasion with a more experienced rider. Reliable cross-country, straightforward in the show jumping, and uncomplicated on the flat, he makes a versatile partner for a rider looking to gain confidence and miles.
In 2025, he helped his young rider earn a Top 10 finish on the USEA Young Rider Preliminary leaderboard and claim the Preliminary Interscholastic Rider title.
