Have you ever had a crush that then got to know their personality and you were like, "ew?" Not this time! Tetley has the looks, the personality and the brain! He is the type to make your friends jealous with his looks, but so polite you can take him home to meet Mom.

 

He would make a fantastic dance partner in the sand with three show stopping gaits for dressage. He could go Eventing on Saturday and trail riding or fox hunting with a drink in your hand on Sunday. He loads, bathes, hacks out alone, and tolerates my idiot neighbor dogs charging the fence line. If they are reading this I am calling the dogs idiots, not the humans. He is a light build, but has muscle: if he was human he would be a supermodel that lives on a farm and can stack 20 bales of hay. He's the perfect size for a step up from a pony or step down from a brontosaurus. He is not a deadhead but not flighty either - he is on the greener side but kind enough for a teen or AA to finish him out. He would not be suitable for your tiny tot or your grandmother who rides once a year. He prefers a decent petite rider with good shoulders due to his build, and a proper half halt for balance. He is a perfect gentleman in crossties and in his stall, and is learning to be patient tied to a trailer. He leads with excellent manners. No buck, bolt, or rear.

He has shown pre-starter combined test; schooled up to 2'3 stadium, BN XC including banks and water, and schooled training level USDF dressage. Tetley is signed up for the Area IV eventing clinic in July. He goes trail riding alone on our property, including hills and water. Tetley is barefoot, & great for the farrier. Video available!
