My loss is your gain!
Ollie, or American Bad Boy, is a 2017 model TB gelding. Purchased from a well known TB sourcing program, I purchased him to be my adult ammy all rounder. , He would be great, except I don’t have time to ride! I had him in professional training for about six months, muddled around on him when I could for a few months, but he’s essentially had the last year off with me. Absolutely no fault of his own! He’s sound, happy as a clam with just front shoes. Could probably be barefoot.
Before his extended break, he did some schooling shows at around 2’3”, schooled BN and N questions (with a professional, I’m a nervous nellie and only popped him over 18”), trail rode, etc. His ideal life would be as a fox hunter, but eventing will do - I don’t see him being happy in a dressage only situation!
He takes up a ton of leg and feels bigger than 16-2. Very comfy gates.
He would much prefer to be turned out 24/7. Will weave in a stall setting. It does improve, and he can manage it just fine, but he is much happier if he can just be turned out. Super easy to catch, very curious and interested in everything you do, loves baths. Not a fan of grooming, but he stays super clean - no idea how!
He’s still young enough to do anything or go in any direction desired. I hate that he’s become a cute pasture ornament, so very negotiable to offers for an excellent situation for him.
